Patricia's fascination with children's imaginations propelled her into the world of children's books. As a Child Psychologist for thirty years, she has been privileged to peek into the amazing minds of children.
She has worked for Random House, McGraw-Hill and Worth publishers writing ancillary materials (summaries, glossaries, photo captions) for textbooks. Her article on grief was published in Program for Early Parental support (PEPS) Newsletter (Fall 1996) and her poem was published in the Winter 2011/Spring 2012 issue of We Need Not Walk Alone. In November, 2013, as part of NaNoWriMo, she completed an adult novel about a woman struggling with Alzheimer's. Her self-published work is available on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Love-Loss-Maybe-Patricia-Oppenheim-ebook/dp/B00JH7TATY).
